CLIENT: Swiss Wine Valais

Le Étoiles du Valais is a unique event eagerly awaited by wine producers in the region; four red wines
and four white wines are awarded a gold medal.

Every year, a photographer and a graphic designer who do not know each other are asked to work together to create
a booklet that tells their story.

Here my idea: I created a deck of cards.
Because in my vision, each producer plays a game seated at a table with the elements of nature that influence their wine and make it unique every year. They know what cards they have in their hand, but they cannot know which cards the others have.

Les Couleurs du Vin

For this evening, I was commissioned to create a new design as part of my ‘Colours of Wine’ project.

I therefore decided to feature a king and queen on the same card, enjoying the winning wines. The reverse side also echoes the design of the game box.

During the event, the wineries were able to create their own commemorative cards, printing with Johannisberg, Rosé and Cornalin, using the corkscrew that I had converted into a printer.
